The Uganda Alliance of Patients’ Organizations (UAPO) brings together a vibrant community of 18 patient-led and community-based organizations working across Uganda to promote the rights, voices, and wellbeing of patients.

Each of our members represents a unique health focus — from non-communicable diseases and mental health to reproductive care and rare conditions — all united by one mission:

To put patients at the center of healthcare, research, and policy.

Through shared advocacy, peer learning, and collaboration, UAPO members strengthen Uganda’s healthcare systems, ensuring that every patient’s experience contributes to better services and safer care for all.
